When you have your own experience of an aware moment that you can see, hear and feel energy, life is not quite the same again. I feel that you spend your time trying to recreate the experience and you feel compelled to bring it towards you.
There is an acceptance of everything that has happened was supposed to happen because it did happen. Nothing will happen if it is not supposed to happen. On a very deep level you know that you are whole, complete and congruent and there is a part of you that is not yet healed. In life there are outcomes that you would like to happen and then there is a process that you go through in order to make that happen. You choose the process. So you can choose for it to be full of trauma and pain and you can also choose if the process will be with ease and grace.
The toddler years you are very ego centric and it's all about having your needs met and your focus is on having fun. On the other end of the scale your teenage years are about pleasing others, trying to fit in, being seen to do the right thing and be consumed by how others are perceiving you. Realistically you don't need to know in order to grow and you can evoke to invoke but what does this actually mean? The next few years you learn to discern what you need to understand., what more you can learn and what you actually need to unlearn. Its like undoing the wool that has become entangled so that you can now weave your own tapestry.
You can watch a movie and you will have a certain lens through which you view the movie, What is prominent for you in your emotional body will invoke reactions and feelings. You have embodied those emotions like buttons just waiting for others to push them. In between your armour of self defence there are gaps through which others will discover your weaknesses. They are actually not weaknesses they are aspects of yourself that you are in denial about - trying to hide due to shame and vulnerability and the reason these buttons are available to others is because you so desperately want to hide them. So what if ..... what if you shone a light on them and you got really curious about how you are choosing to judge yourself.
What if your greatest weakness became your strongest asset - When others can press that button and not get a reaction, there will be less inclination for them to press the button - the power over you has been dissipated. Your power comes from you not reacting. As you own all aspects of yourself there is nothing to hide. The more you focus on being in the present moment, when the button is pressed you will not jump back to the past. The more you focus on being in the present moment, when worrying about the button being pressed you will not be worrying about the future. The more you focus on being in the present moment the button ceases to exist.
When you know who you are and you no. longer give energy and power to others you are not impacted by their opinions of you. When you know who you are and discern what is yours and what is someone else's you are not impacted by their energetic impact on you. When you know who you are and you are not concerned by who you need to be to please and be accepted by others you are able to serve your own needs. When you know who you are and you learn to say no to things that you don't want to do - you have power and choice over how you spend your time and who you spend your time with including choosing to spend time alone rejuvenating.
Be the grasshopper - In the movie Karate kid its about knowing you are the student and you are ready to learn. In spiritual symbolism it reminds you that if you want to make changes then you will need faith and determination. When you are innovative enough to have the desire to changes - it empowers you to embark on the new challenge without fear and knowing and trusting that you can trust your inner wisdom and you need to take action. If you don't feel ready, that is totally fine because you are making choices about your journey. If it is not now then the times is not now. When you are ready - you will be ready.
